I need a gas tank for my dirtbike that I just picked up ASAP. I've looked on many various websites & have not been able to find one- either I can't find one at all or it's ridiculously priced-$300 for a crappy piece of plastic!!

It doesn't have to be new. I wouldn't mind a used one as long as it's very bright white. Mine has been chewed by a squirrel & has yellowed either from sun or from the gas soaking into the plastic.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

 

Yes... go to stuntlife.com, they sell everything used there. I'm not sure if you want a new one, but i'm sure u can find a used beat up one cheap

I'm looking mainly to get one from a company or at least someone who can prove their reputation (eBay) & I need one in excellent shape- not beat up at ll.

That's what I thought. I checked & no one's selling a gas tank for my bike. In fact, I couldn't find any of the parts I needed for my bike on eBay!

You may be able to get a tank from a different model to work with some modding.

No. I never even bid. It was too expensive. I wasn't willing to pay more for a gas tank than I did for the whole bike! Know what I mean?

But I did find someone else on eBay that was parting out an XR & I got some other parts that I needed from him for a good price.
