Anything.

whats your set-up?
It's kinda hard to diagnose a problem with not history.......you should know this considering your post count.....list your set-up

lol, sorry just got back from nopi and i am very tired and dissapointed in my car...

the setup is a b16 with a tdo5 with the stock wastegate(8lbs). it is running the hack. stock ignition. non-chipped pr3 ecu.
the car will go into vtec and pull hard untill right around 7.2k then it just seems like you hit a brick wall. the ecu isnt throwing any codes.
and it only seems to start doing this about a week after the turbo was intalled.

Well without knowing anything else I'm going to venture out and say that it sounds like your running to rich. Usually the problem that you descridbed is due to air fuel rtio problems.
Have you had it on a dyno yet?

no dyno yet...c ould the proble be from bad o2 sensor placement.... cause the down pipe that we made we used the stock mitsu o2 housing and put 1 o2 sensor there and put the othe one alittle further down the downpipe.

also there was a problem with it not wanting to hold at a certain rev when i was launching... it would go up then back down like 500 rpms then back up again.

Nah doubt it....
Does it rev fine then suddenly stop like it's hit a wall?

What are the specs on your turbo? Your turbo could just be running out of breath on the high revving b16. Like the other guy said.....

Or does it just slow down?

yeah revs fine until 7.2k and its not the turbo running outta breath. one race my charge pipe popped of and i still went up to see if it would go past 7.2 and nope hit 7.2 and just wouldent rev any higher!

Sounds like your running to rich. I had that same problem and fixed it when I realized my air/fuel ratio was 10.0:1 + under boost. leaned it out to about 11.5 and solved the problem

running lean does that too. what for injectors and fuel pump do you have?

my talon does the same thing, but at 6200 rpm. while monitoring the fuel injectors they go from ~24ms (injector pulse width) to ~1.6ns. the problem lies behind the fuel pump. it's stock and needs to be rewired, for more voltage at the pump...might help the problem a bit. but really, i need to get an aftermarket pump, like a 190 or something.

so whats your fuel setup?

If he was running lean power would just taper off, It would still rev like it's running fine (unless it's extreemly lean)...

Too much fuel at that rpm point.

MAKE sure its not running lean though. I know that it can get too rich and start to break up, but that is like at 8:1 from my experience. And when you lean out too much, it definetly can be like hitting a brick wall.

hehe, as a matter of fact, last night when me and a buddy's math were off somehow while tuning fuel maps, it felt like we slammed into one. But the a/f ratio shot through the roof. Upwards of 25 in some parts.

Remember kids, don't drink and tune.

and no...i was not the one driving

i put all numbers across the board to -40% since there is no boost there due to my wastegate actuator is broken and it just opens whenever the engine is reved.
and it still stops at 7.2k......

i don't know ECU code names, but is that ECU from an LS or another car that has a fuel-cut at 7200? My LS integra cuts off at 7200. maybe just a coincidence.
