Default Shipping an Integra rear bumper - how? Anybody done this before?

I'm sure that a lot of people have run into this problem before. Somebody finds a buyer for their front or rear bumper cover and is charging a reasonble price for it, but the problem is that the seller can't find a way to ship the bumper to the buyer.

UPS and USPS have a maximum of 108" of longest length + (girth = 2w + 2h). Fedex also has a limit too, but I'm not sure what it is.

Has anybody ever successfully shipped their bumper across state lines?

UPS will do it, but only on a pickup with a oversized box penalty. Cheapest.. call up AAA Cooper Trucking if you both have one of their dist. points near you and have them ship it. You'll have to pick it up from them or it'll be big $$ though. They shipped my full rollcage for 57 bucks.

I think we've figured out a solution for everyone's bumper shipping needs (just in case nobody else knew, or if there's somebody out there that wants to know). Greyhound Package Express < http://www.greyhound.com > has low-cost, over-sized package shipping. Over-sized is anything over 130" of total dimension (length + girth).

I got a quote from Airborne, UPS Logistics, and Greyhound. In order, they were $200+, $160+, and $27. Greyhound's would also take the shortest amount of time to ship...maybe 1 day at most. Also, they give student discounts...bonus.

FedEx is the best for shipping large packages.
