Default spark plugs-platinum or not?? did a search

Can I use a regular plug or do I have to use the platimun plugs that came in the car? Does anyone have the p/n for reg. copper plugs? How often do you change your plugs? I have a little over 16k and it has been hard starting lately. Thanks for your help.

Yes, talk to Mike K. who is on this board. Very nice guy. Helped me out. I currently have the copper equivalent plugs in my R. Copper is a better conductor of electricity. Platinums just last longer. Mike actually said he gained 2 hp across the board with these plugs. Of course his car is heavily modified if you ask me. I only have a few mods. Good luck

Thank you talkie..........anyone else......part number?????I called the local NAPA store and they recommended not to switch from platinum, said they did it for a reason and not to change.
