I have a 4cyl 6gen Accord and was wondering if anyone out there know how to make it work with the Vtec. I haven't been able to find out how to make it work. Apexi site isn't really helping me out any. So, if anyone out there knows how to make it work for my car please give me some help. Thanks guys.
Even with the correct pins, I thought it wasnt feasible cuz our vtec systems are different. Apexi states it on their website that it will work for the V6 but not 4 cylinder cuz we have a variable vtec system and our vtec kicks in at different times depending on our throttle.

Damn this sucks. I'm turboing my car soon and I was hoping I could go with a VAFC instead of the SAFC. Well, does anyone out there know if I can use the SAFC and if there is a intank fuel pump made for my car also? Oh yeah, would I be able to use a Greddy Profec B II also? Or would I run into some minor problems. Thanks guys for your help.

a bunch of wrong/misleading info.
yes, apex'i said you can't use vafc on 6th gen vtec 4cylinders because the variable vtec cross over thing. But guess what? you can use it.
I think i still have the pin out/color(same car w/ vafc).
I would recommend e-manage instead or better aem.
there's a inline fuel pump in your car, just pull the carpet/cardboard out of your trunk and you'll see a silver pod thing, redo the screws and the sucker is there.

I would go with the E-manage or the AEM but, I don't have that kind of money as of now. I spent most of it getting stuff for my turbo setup. I bought the Drag 4 kit, Thermo Tec insulation turbo kit, starter insulation, battery insulation, Jet Hotted my downpipe, dump tube, manifold, bought the SAFC, Blitz turbo timer and BLM oil, fuel and EGT gauges, went with the WRX stock exhaust for the sleeper look, AEM cams, fuel rail and pulley, Greddy Profec B II and order Tial wastegate because I didn't to use the crappy Delta wastegate that I hear alot of people have trouble with. I know I have a inline pump but, I'm actually looking for a IN TANK fuel pump. Because people told me that the INLINE pump runs when you just turn your car on to listen to music and you can hear it running.

that person wired their pump wrong then. I have an inline pump wired to the PGMFI relay and it works exactly like the stock pump. Loud as hell tho - I'm switching to a walbro in-tank now that I've changed from FMU to the AFC hack.

Walbro makes a intank fuel pump? I called and talk to the a couple reps and they said that they haven't released any applications for the 98 Accords yet. Well, if you find a intank fuel pump let me know what kind it is and how much it cost. Because damn I don't want to be listening to a fuel pump from inside my car. And what is this AFC hack I always here about?

the guy I bought it from said to use the 94-00 integra pump for the 6th gen accord. Another guy I know used a 94-97 accord pump. You can make 'em fit.

Oh I called Titanmotorsports today and their sending me out one today. Called and ask him if they had Walbro intank fuel pump for my car and he said yeah. So, I went ahead and ordered it and its on the way. Should be here Friday he said. Hopefully it works and it's not the wrong one and hopefully I don't have to modify it too much to make it work. Thanks for your help again.

mine is 98-02
you looking at a bill for a new unit here.
dont even run FMU setup if you want your motor to last, why spend all the money and do a half *** job on the most important part of turbo?
btw what rating of warbro you got?
