To paint or powdercoat? Question to painters and powdercoaters
I have a set of ls mesh wheels that I am going to paint or powder-coat and I wanted to know which will come out cleaner looking, painting or powder-coating the wheels. If i paint them I will be doing it myself, but i do not have a paint both to use so I am concerned with fish eyes and dust in the paint. It won't be easy to sand and buff between the spokes so I am trying to avoid problems with flaws. I don't have any experience with powder-coating so i don't know what it will look like and the pictures I have seen do not show enough detail. So I am curious which will look cleaner. Oh I already posted this question in the appearance forum and only got one reply. Thanks

I like powder coat, just because it's stronger, but it's expensive. I painted my wheels, and as long as you do light coats, you'll be fine. Mine actually came out pretty nicely, IMO. Not as good as if they were powder coated, but still, I spent 5 bucks on 2 cans of rattle can paint.
I am going to use car paint base and clear if i paint them or maybe just color i haven't figured it yeat.
