Default Project Mu TItan KAI too much???

Was offered a decent price for these brake pads.

Optimum range is from 0 - 800 degrees celsius

Anyone with any feedback from using these pads?

Just worried that they are too much for street use/occasional track.

I plan to use bendix/axxis ultimate for the rear and the type hc titan kai for the fronts.

Front: 0 - 800
Rear: 0 - 550

Just wondering if its alright to mix pads? What are the problems associated with having this much more braking problem at the front (of coz, front brakes take most of the brunt.. but just wondering if this combi is alright)

Thx

Absolutely nothing wrong with mixing pads like you were suggesting.

Here is a good link for comparative information wrt pad suggestions/temp ratings, even though though they don't carry the exact same product you're asking about.

Also, there's a lot of "brake" info in the FAQ section at the top of the top of this forum page.

Feedback from my buddy (whom I gave some Titan Kais to) was that it was an awesome pad for track days, but they wear out fairly quick.

I am using it right now mainly for street. I don't think it is too much for street and it performas really really well as you brake from higher speed. 180+km/hr range.

The pad does produce lot of brake dust and eats the wheel paint. Just be aware of that. How much were you offered for this pad may i ask? I paid almost 225US for it. Perhaps its cheaper down south?
