How to connect FITV on AEBS manifold?-Would that work?
Hey,
I installed a AEBS manifold at my b16a1 engine. It doesn't support the FITV.
I have a idea how I could connect it. Using a y-connector at the vacuum port for the brake booster.Would that work?-Brake booster needs a vacuum and the FITV provides air. Can I connect that to one port???
Do I need the FITV?

thanks,
marc

no, it wouldnt work, FITV needs source of ait from before the tb and then an output t after the tb( into the manifold).
You can just leave the fitv out.the car will just idle lower when its cold, no biggie

Of course I would place an additional hose from the intake pipe to the fitv. Then a hose from the fitv to a y-connector as shown in the picture...

i guess if you reaallly wanted to have it then....
you would have to make a adapter plate for the fitv to connect the hoses that you say....
or...
leave it out

Hm, leave it out would be the easiest way of course.
But what about starting the engine on colder days?
Doesn't the fitv affect my idle?
thanks,
marc

yes, as sayd, it will idle lower when car its cold, for ex: instead of 2000 rpms, it will idle at 1000 when cold

technicaly you could leave the FITV out but starting the car in a colder climate will require some finesse but it would be do able if u live in a warmer climate then by all means go ahead
Well, I live in germany, but only drive my car in the summer, so I think I'll leave it off for now. If I run into trouble I can still install it.
Big thanks!
