Default AEM CAI removal for winter

Do I need to put the resonator box back on too? Or can I just put the top portion of the stock intake back in? I planning on running a K&N drop in filter until the spring when I will put the AEM back on.

if your using the bypass valve just remove the lower section and bypass and use it like a ram air
works great when its raining here
and i would reinstal the entire stock air system.

I'm not runnin' a bypass valve. Think I can still run it through the winter?

My AEM is 4-5 years old, before the bypass was even thought of!
Just stay out of DEEP water!
I've even driven at 80 mph in a downpour with most of the RF fender liner missing.
This I do NOT suggest!

I had mine in all winter last winter with no problems. I live in MI and we had a very snowy winter last year. I wouldn't worry about it.
