Default B16A2, What do they come in?

Does the B16A2 only come in the Si coupe or does it come in other honda models? I'm confused

Do they also come in the DOHC Delsol?

wrong.

B16A2's came in 99-00 Civic Si's and 96-97 Del Sol VTEC's.
94-95 Del Sol VTEC's came with B16A3's.

Hmm, I have a B16A2 and I believe I'm using an 0BD1 ecu, I dont remember exactly which one it is but i'll look tomorrow. It's NOT the A2's ECU though. So I would need to know where the B16A2 I have came from in order to get the right ECU i'm guessing.

Anyone know the answer to my 2nd post?

I didnt really ask but what I need to know is if I am currently using an OBD1 ecu on my B16A2 without any modifications, how would that be possible if the b16a2 in the 99-00 Si is OBD2? Any help would be appreciated for this hybrid n00b.

You can run a obd two motor on obd one (even keeping all the sensors obd two) without a problem as long as you convert the harness (your civic obd one) or run a obd two integra harness

obd one is better for tuning and has less emission stuff than obd two

if the car is obd one
keep obd one

you can drop a OBD2 motor with its originall harness right into your car and retain use of your stock "car harness". therfor leting you run an OBDI ecu with out any conversions.

and there is only one OBDI ecu for the 1.6 litter DOHC vtec motor, it came off of a b16a3, its virtually the SAME EXACT Motor.

now you could be running a chip'c ECU. mmm any one know the thread with the pictures of the ECU and how to identifi it??? there is a thread around here some were and the picture is always floating around. im pretty sure KATMAN (ht user name) is the guy who did the pic and write up.
