(OT) FS: Carbon Fiber (Kaminari) Hood for '94-'01 integra.....
Yeah, I'm prepared to burn for this one...
Check the classifieds forum if interested in picking this one up. Would be excellent for those with sc or turbo...
Here's some quick pics I took last night (more to come):

With all the talk of carbon hoods, this post brings up an interesting position on hood quality and construction. If you look at one of the smaller images it appears that there is a honeycomb structure underneath the hood sandwiched between the frame and "top" of the hood. This is something I have not seen before.
The Mugen Hood has an X or snowflake subframe underneath the laminate you can see if the light catches it just right....
BodyKitsNW seems to have a nice product also (in terms of construction) also but the images at their site aren't extremely detailed.
KarbonLite is another hood manufacturer I have been considering but I have not been able to find a lot of details regarding it's construction either.
Just a few rambling thoughts for the afternoon....

Thanks for the flames guys...

Ok, here's the story:
My buddy bought this hood 2 weeks before NOPI, and had it clear coated, etc... Well he gets hit in the rear of his integra and they total his car out.
He is trying to get an EK so he can swap the gsr motor and sc into it, but needs every little bit of $ for this... So I figure "what the hell..." I've been planning to get a cf hood to reduce weight. It's a lot cheaper than list price, and already shipped, I can look at it, and already clear coated too...
Well, it's just not my style. I go for the sleeper look myself and it stands out a little too much. I also want to put hood pins in the front (for those high-speed runs), but it would be a shame to drill holes in such a high quality piece.
I figured someone here might like it for their sc or turbo car (because the hood vent really cools the engine off)...

j/kI hope someone buys the hood off you. it IS a nice hood.
