civic Si tranny mated to H22a
Wow, this can actually be done? I thought H and B series werent interchangable, except for the IM on a Type R and H22, apparently that fits. ::shurgs::
My buddy actually has had the adapter plate made for months and months now. But RS machining will be producing them and releasing them soon. But its very possible, and I've seen it done first hand months ago. With my buddies plate, you use b-series linkage, b-series tranny mount, b-series axles, etc.

Actually, now that you mention it, I'm not sure. I'll have to ask him and get back to you. Due to the placement of the tranny, I believe you would have to use the b series bracket

if both motors spin the same way then you can theoretically attach any tranny to any engine with a custom bell housing or some variety of adaptor. but goddammit why would people think that this is possible in stock form. have you ever seen an h-22
I read in a HT magazine where the CRX with the F22 motor is running low 10's is running a D series transmission. They made a 1/2 inch thick aluminum adapter plate. They also made a custom flywheel to make it work.
