engine oil change direction
is there an article on this site somewhere that will explain step by step instruction on how to change engine oil, this will be my first time changing it by myself...i know i'll use mobil 1 5w30, fram filter and do i need a filter wrench? thanx...any other tips for newbie starter? i have 95 accord ex v6 sedan with 107k miles...we should have an article section on this site that explains many installation and fixes step by step with pictures just like ti site, that is kick *** site
I would reccomend not using fram filters. you would be better off using a honda one (as long as its not the kind made by fram) or one of the higher quality ones sitting on the shelf near the fram ones. I.E. maybe the mobil 1 premium filter, there are some other decent ones. But the fram seems to be the bottom of the pyle.
Also, you will need a filter wrech to get it off, but only put the new one on hand tight! and be sure to lube its gasket with fresh oil.
As far as instructions, I would reccomend a service manual from auto-zone. they are lke 14 bux and come in handy even though they arent quite as good as the more expensive honda manual.
good luck man.
