I may be posting in the wrong category forum and yes I am a newbie when it comes to cars. I'm starting new and I need some help knowing some stuff about tires. I'm asking around people and I keep getting different answers all the time. The question is how do i know how much pressure should be in my tires? My car is a Honda civic 2001 lx. Gas stations meters only have 1 digits like 1 - 6 (thats how far i've seen so far), both front of my tires are pumped to 6 and a half of those gas station air meters. Anyone know specificly how much I need in each tire? according to the gas staion meters? People i asked are saying like 34 to 36 , these high numbers when these meters at gas stations show only ... 1 - 9? (rough guess since the meter stick seems short) Thanks.
