im considering buying some type R cams off a guy who has them on his b16. First how can I tell they are actually Type R cams. (vin number..ect...) Secondly How much are they worth , he's asking 400.oo Canadain, good deal? Lastly, what kind of hp gain will I be looking at?

yeah search a bit there is a why to find out

and 400 bill ain't to bad since everyone wants like 600 for them

and this is for a bolt on upgraded motor right

 

I have a b16a with type r cams.. gives up to a 25hp increase, can def. notice a difference from stock though!

 

i got them on my b16 too you can deffinatly feel them from 6,000 +

 

25 hp....??? man i think you have your numbers mixed up............

 

$400 cad is an excellent price.
