engine flooded with fuel - how to fix?
Sorry for the newbie question. I searched for "fuel flood engine NOT carfax" among other things, but couldn't figure out a solution.
How would you remove excess fuel in the combustion chambers? I removed the spark plugs and they were wet with fuel, even though the car hadn't started up in four days.
I also found some white residue at the top of the spark plugs. The car had a major tune up done with the cap, distributor, plugs, and wires all changed 10k miles ago.
Thanks,
-Brian.

Well, the best thing to do now is to go out and buy a fire place match and light it. Then stick the flame end of the match in the spark plug hole. That will help dry out the fuel. LOL!! Or you can use a air tool and stick the nozzle in and "air dry that ****!!!!"
or take your spark plugs out and crank it over.. if its really flooded with fuel.. i wouldn't want to be standing next to the motor....
