What would you do?
I've got a 96 Civic LX (4dr) with some rather miniscule mods.
Tint
5Zigen 16" wheels
CTR-style headlights and lip
JDM-style taillights
Alpine headunit
10" sub and amp
Avital Alarm w/ keyless entry
AEM CAI w/ bypass valve
Factory foglights
Muffler (sounds nice, discrete)
AUTOMATIC w/ 120500
It's also got some body damage (someone hit my fender, dented it).
I'm debating on whether or not to sell it. I have all the stock parts so I'm thinking of getting the damage repaired and putting it back to stock. I'd like to buy a 99 DX hatchback, but I'm not sure what to do. I'm 18 and leaving for college in August, and I plan on having a job the whole time so I'd like to spend some $$$ on a B or K series buildup. Any advice?
Sorry if this is in the wrong forum. I tried to post in the General Discussion and Debate, but I'm a TU.

why do you wanna sell it, didnt you just buy it? Or you tryin to say you bought it cheap, and are going to put it back to stock and part out the other stuff to make a little dough?
I bought it January '03 for 6 grand. My parents really pushed me to get it (forgot to mention it's automatic), and I don't know if I want to put the money into a 4-door.
I'll probably keep some parts because I plan on having a Honda for awhile. I really love working on it in my garage and learning as I go.

well fiirst of all get rid of that thing and buy a coupe or h.b lke u want too then drop an h22 or h23 in the bitch turn it all jdm like front conversion and all the goods and roll like a true honda person would roll (just my opinion) i say sell it
Should I strip, repair, and sell?
I've never sold a car before so if anyone has an advice. I'm going to college in Santa Barbara so maybe just a For Sale sign could get it gone? I don't know, eBay?
Or should I just head over to Norm Reeves and milk the trade-in and pick up one of their certified pre-owned hatches?

First off, get what you like. If you want a coupe or a hatch back then go for it. You will never be happy with your 4 door, no matter what you put into it.
My reccomendation is if you wanna go fast, get a CX/VX hatch and dump a Bseries into it. If you wanna stay all motor stick with the b18c1, if you wanna turbo just get the LS motor and turbo it. The LS motor on boost will EASILY put a hatch in the 13's and you would spend about the same as doing a gsr swap with bolt ons.
Also, unlike the other reccomendation you have in this thread, screw the jdm stuff unless you like it. If you're not hard core you're gonna buy that jdm **** for 5x the price of generic stuff that works just as good and in 6 months ur gonna look back and go "****, for what i spent in jdm stuff I could knock another second off my time." But if you want a nice mix of style and go fast stuff, do a nice bseries swap and do some jdm stuff here and there.
And $5k for that hatch is way too much. Check the classifieds. ive saw the same hatches goin for 3500.
