Default my motors from hmotorsonline :(

jdm ls motor:
i ordered an obd1 ls motor, i get an obd0 motor
various sensors are broken on the motor
the alt comes in a box
i didin't get any alt brackets
there's no tps sensor on the tb, guessing cause its obd0

i can't even use this motor. i was going to put it in a eg hatch

jdm gsr motor:
knock sensor broken...111.00 brand new at autoparts store
sensor missing on back of the tb....haven't checked the prices
spark plugs had water in them...hope the head gasket isn't gone

people say steve is a good guy and fixes problems. lets see if he will send me the sensors i need for the gsr and send me an obd1 ls motor and have the obd0 motor picked up. i shouldn't have to pay for another motor shipped to me either, but we'll see what he's going to say about that.

just letting you guys know what happened cause i want to see if he will fix everything.

My homie bought a 1st gen. b16 for his CRX, and since its was our 1st DOHC VTEC swap we had a few problems, So we had to try different things and since were local he gave us a bad axel so he exchanged it w/ no problems and other stuff too. So yea im sure he'll take of you brO.

well, i hope he will send me an obd1 ls motor with the sensors i need and take the obdo ls motor back. i have no use for an obd0 ls motor. kinda pisses me off cause i was hoping to have the car up and running by this weekend.

The last few things ive heard about h motors doesnt sound too good. Making me think twice before i buy/ refer anyone to them about geting a motor.
They used to be HOT as hell, with no error and good products, but i think their service is still good and they will work with you
peace

im sure atleast 70% of his sales are over the internet.. but if you can, and your local, go into his shop.

last time i went i bought a EF8 front end clip, complete, and anything i didn't like, i exchanged, and he worked out a few deals on some other EF stuff...

he's alright, but then if you get anything shipped from 4 states away.. ur sorta fucked.. i dunno.

well, i'm states away....thats why i'm wondering if he will send me the sensors that i need or at least refund me the cost of new ones.

i guess only the local people will get the good looking motors. of course if your local he will help you out for sure, but if your not.....who knows.

has he helped anyone before that wasn't local?

You do know that alot of the jdm motors come from japan with bad or broken sensors and if they arent already they are when they are shipped here to the states or if they have survived that then when they are shipped to you. I dont know about the rest but sensors are normal

i still think that he should send me another one free of charge. i paid a lot of money for the longblock, i don't want to go spend more money for some sensors.

also...i looked at the oil pan and its all dented up. i took the oil pan off, the pick up is dented a little and i saw one small gold metal shaving. makes me wonder about the motor.

on the other hand...we put the ls motor in. there were a few problems started it up though. it was the map sensor that wasn't on the throttle body. there's no map sensor place on the throttle body for a map sensor.

just luckily we had an extra map sensor laying around. we rigged it up to a vacum line. started up the car and it seems to be pretty good. didn't get a chance to take it for a test drive though.

yeah...

well, that one seems to be okay....now i just wonder what the gsr motor is going to run like and if that shaving is just the start of more to come.

Hey man steve should straighten things out for you at least he did for me. I live in PA and I ordered a b16a motor and he sent a h22 after the h22 was dropped off I called him and he had a shipping company pick it up and take it back and I had my b16 about a week later. He got slammed with shipping costs. He gets from me.

its just a lucky draw... i just got my h22 from there on friday and its in almost perfect condition (well from what i can see outside we havent ripped it open yet) and my friend who also ordered a h22 from there about 4 months ago had a tear in his flex pipe and a couple of the sensors were broken.... so its you either you get lucky or you dont

I would have kept the H22.
