crank seal keeps LEAking.......
this is the second time i've changed the cranck seal, but for some reason it keeps leaking. Is this because my cranck is moving.....? Do i have a bad motor......?
It had the LX motor non Vtec, I replaced with EX Vtec....could this play a role in
this problem....any info would be nice.
thanx,

thanx,
you have to make sure there are no scars/scuff marks on the crank shaft before installing the crank seal. If there are, lightly sand it down with 2000 grit until the burrs are gone.
dood,
i have an ex accord with the vtec motor f22b. apparently, they was a recall on that type of problem. mine leaks, and after getting under there and looking, it does look like its from the crankseal...
dunno if your leak is like mine but mine seems to leak only when the car has been shutoff...when i had the motor running and looked ...there was no leak...
Im just gonna let it leak....its not a fun job...

How long has it been. If it hasn't been very long they should repair it again. (hopefully right)
