Default good night for the stock 89 hf......

wow...had a pretty damn good night last night. beat some cars i thought i would lose to. i gotta 89 hf w\D16A6...stock everything. tho i just put some coil overs on which surprisingly helped my launching A LOT...i have little to no more wheel hop thank god! when i went to the track couple weeks ago best i ran was 15.7 but that was with stock springs with BAD BAD wheel hop and my car wasn't really running right it seemed. well last night i beat a 92 eg hatch w\LS...about 2 times. he has the normal bolt ons. i beat him by at least a car or so. then i raced a 91 si hatch with B20 and bolt ons. pretty much the same as the eg because of weight. took him off the line and beat him by 1 car or so. that was a race i thought i would lose...but i FORGOT the b20 is in a heavy *** si hatch. then i raced a 94 LS...i thought it was a gsr cause it had the rims...but turns out it was just an ls. killed him pretty bad. oh and lastly a EK dx hatch w\ bolt ons...LOL...just for fun ok just thought i'd share some kills for the D-SERIES baby! where's the d16a6 love! can't wait til i get some bolt ons with the exospeed cam...should be interesting!

oh and with the B20 si hatch...it had nothing to do with the driver cause i thought the same thing when i beat him the first 2 times...so we had my other homeboy drive his car, who is an excellent driver...and he even lowered his tire pressure...did a couple burn outs to warm up the tires...and the out come was still the same.

BTW...i better mention i'm pretty gutted. haha...no rear interior, bumper supports, carpet, hmmm i think thats all. nothing to big yanno...

really now? you ran a 15.7 for your best time and beat all those cars? those people must really suck at tuning or driving, not knocking your car or anything, but a B20 shoulda waxed you and i can see the 94 LS loosing.....LS tegs with wheels are SLOW, wish you were in kansas, then we could match up

haha...i should of ran much better than the 15.7 as i was trying to point out. a B20 in a si hatch is suppose to be fast? hmm maybe mid-low 15's at best from what i've seen. you gotta remember WEIGHT is a issue...

i can vouch for this, alot of ppl doubt and calls bullshit on my boy project ED8s car when he says he has a d16, dont forgot that a hf 89 crx weights about 1800-1900, when he had a 88crx hf he use to go and spank alot of hatchs with B series swaps,

on his 88 crx hf he use to have d16a6 with bolt ons, he hit a best of 14.9 and hit consistant low 15s, alot of ppl can call BS but i know the potentional the d16 has and im swapping one in my hatch

Go d16a6! Gawd I love that motor to death! Go get some 89 Integra pistons, pg7 ecu, and some bolt-ons!
