Default brake lights?

I got pulled over the other night and the officer told me that my brake lights were stuck on. When I got home to check it out, sure enough, while my headlights were turned on, my brake lights were stuck on as well. Also, when I hit the brake pedal, my parking lamps came on. Does anyone know what might be causing this and how I might fix it?

Id say your looking at 3 things, A bad Brake pedal switch that is staying engaged and not allowing the brakes to open the brake light circuit in turn killing power ot the brake lights.

A cross short, somwhere you've got to wires that are feeding into each other signal and its going haywire. A bad multifunction switch can do this too....

Or youve got a plain and simple short to power......does your car leak? If so I connector might be gunked up and covered in water, like around your taillight gaskets or are any of your lights cracked?

My brake lights used to get filled up with water. So what do i look for there? Also, would that explain my parking lamps as well?
