I am looking for an H22 manual tranny to swap out my existing one. I have been scouring the net and auto parts dealers, and I am shocked at the prices being offered on these units. Here is what I have found so far:

* JDM M2B4 LSD tranny, low miles : $1000
* USDM M2Y4 tranny, 35k miles: $1000
* USDM M2Y4 tranny, 105k miles: $650
* USDM M2Y4 tranny, 80k miles: $1000 shipped
* USDM M2Y4 tranny, "low" miles: $1000

Is it me, or are these prices really high? I don't want an LSD model, just a base M2Y4. Are these prices realistic? If you have purchased a tranny, what did you pay?

 

they are kinda steep. the standard tranny runs like 600-700 last time i checked.
