Way to go Honda...
You can really feel a shift in power in F1 - look for Honda to get to the top (yes, above Ferrari) later this year or next year. Everything is coming together for them, the chassis and aero packages are working great with the tires and the Honda engine is quickly becoming one of the best in F1...

Senna's Spirit rides in this motor since he never left Imola.

honda's engine is quickly becoming one of the best in F1...again. remember, they use to rule back in the late 70's all the way up to the early 90's when they pulled out of F1.
it's good to see honda starting back in their original stride. supposedly their new engine package they're running for Imola has about 920bhp.

I hate to rain on your guys parade but MS made a huge mistake and lost over .5 seconds in sector 3. Hence button got the pole.
I am not taking anything away from Honda they did great job! But with no one knowing fuel loads and such, qualifying is not the best gage of how things are going to turn out.
I feel awful for Kimi, has to suck, from going for the championship last year to no points after three races and now another engine gone

i totally agree with you, we'll see how things go once the race starts. but, if MS didn't mess up, Button would still end up with P2. which is leaps and bounds over last season, and definitely has put the scare into Renault, McLaren and Williams.
ActiveAero, the pre-race show starts at 4:30 am Pacific / 7:30 am Eastern on the Speed Channel. (race starts at 5am P / 8am E)

i hate to rain on your parade, mr. bmw pride, but this is from MS himself:
Michael Schumacher, Ferrari (2nd, 1m 20.011s):
“Once I saw that Jenson had done a good lap, I knew that for me it was a case of all or nothing. So I tried very hard, but I overdid it at the Variante Alta. I was actually lucky not to go off the track and spin. But even without that moment, I do not think I would have been quick enough for pole."

Good say. That is why MS is my favorite driver. Because he is always positive about things.
Great job to Honda and Button for doing a great job too.
