Default breaking in your SI.. anyone know?

well i just got a new SI 04, i heard 15696391 different stories / rumors about breaking in your engine. just wondering if anyone would know how low you should keep your rpms and how many miles you should put on it before pushing it

did.. says not to accelerate fast for first 600 miles.. but wondering what RPMs you should keep it under to be safe... sadly i donno what the definition of "fast" is to honda

I think you're supposed to keep it under 4500? 5000?

Don't worry so much. It's a Honda.

Avoid full throttle acceleration for the first few hundred miles, but don't baby it, either. Drive it in all kinds of conditions at all different speeds.

Check the oil frequently during your breakin period, and don't change the oil too early. The dealer will probably tell you outright not to change the oil before 5,000 miles. However, you will use what could appear to be an alarming amount of oil in the breakin period. Don't panic.

My K motor at 35,000 miles uses no oil at all, but I would have to constantly top it up in the breakin period.
