Default Type R Legends

Just bought Type R Legends on DVD from the Best Motoring series.

These are the segments:

1. NSX
2. NSX-R Time Attack @ Suzuka.
3. ITR
4. ITR Spec 98
5. CTR.
6. SPOON Racing ITR
7. Bonus Footage / S2000 prototype. (cockpit view of S2000 racing through Nurnburgring - is that right spelling???)

Very entertaining. Good input on the engineering put in to the R series. Some good races against Japans and Europes finest.

Good commentary by SPOONS CEO on Honda engines and NA engineering & power.

If you have the chance, a definate recommendation for all Honda fans.

Next purchase will be the: Roaring VTEC, the Battles @ 10,000 rpm.

I bought at the Pitstop bookshop in Perth WA Australia.

I cut and pasted thier website: http://www.pitstop.net.au/pits...t.cgi

Cost me AUS$42.95.

You'll have to check if they post internationally.

Also check the DVD Zone, Australian DVD are usually PAL Zone 4, however the Type R Legends DVD has a 0, dont know what that means but it works on our systems. Just thought you's would like to know to determine its compatibilty if bought from here.

Enjoy.

teaser: The SPOON Type R is INSANE, with ITR blood flowing through its veins you cannot but wonder and respect what Honda have built and released to the masses. With what careful tuning can allow the common man to own and appreciate interms of a purist philosophical approach to engineering a race car with a jekyll & hyde character. Timid for times of moral courtesy yet a reliant screaming insanity by the flex of your foot muscle.

While not as overwhelmingly brutal down the 1320 or at spitting out ridiculous horses in an obsessive splurge as not all but most Big CC's or Forced Feeders like to gloat. What it does have to offer, when tuned & driven properly in its intended sorroundings, is an experience that very few can replicate. With engineerng, design and a philosophy of purpose, perhaps the last car to lay the sauce on as thick was the Porsche 1973 Carrera 2.7RS and no doubt the experience the ITR and its illustrious engineerng gave will for ever be stamped in the Race/Road cars Hall of Fame. No bullshit, just man + car + road & the natural tendency to be drive fast and soak in some G's.

I dont apologise for my passion......but sorry for having to ramble on about it.

Have the Roaring Vtec one, great DVD,
However the Porsche 966 Turbo King one isn't as good.

Anyone know where to get Fuji Fast-BB and FYE don't stock it neither Blockbuster.

About the whole DVD thing, I was thinking about buying a DVD from England, SKylines and Skyscrapers by Newera Imports about Japanese Racing Ect. but they said that it would only work on computer DVD players, is this true?

I got it too at AIS. It's crazy when the guy drives the S2000 at 120 with top down on the track with penny loafers!

Yeah it is, best thing about it is I only had to wait a few days to get it in. That was when it first came on DVD.
