you heard me!!!!! Please advise me. Is the only real way to guarantee not getting #10 code again is to get a new Air Intake Temp. Sensor????

thanks for your help, man......but the only one it could be is the alternator/speed sensor fuse.....everything else has absolutley nothing to do with my AIT.

Yes, I know
thats the one that you should check

There isn't too much to the IAT circuit.
92-95 Civic: D15 is input; D22 is ground (I would assume this is the same as the 94-97 Teg's as well)
96-98 Civic: D8 is input; D11 is ground
99-00 Civic: C25 is input; C18 is ground
98-99 Teg: D8 is input; D11 is ground
00 Teg: C25 is input; C18 is ground
There are no fuses associated with this circuit too.

My guess would be that a wire has a break somewhere, or a pin has come undone.
I've not seen an actual IAT sensor go bad, but I'm sure it's possible.
Just grab anoter IAT sensor from a salvage engine.

ok
Go out, start the car and pull the alt. fuse
you will throw code 10
(ive done it twice)

Don't know what to say to that....I'm going off the Helms ETM and its schematics indiacte no fuses.
What other codes are thrown when you pull this fuse?

mines went bad, just like tom said, just grab another one and replace it. i cant remember if reset my ECU or not. try resetting your ECU after you have switched the sensor.
if that doesnt solve the problem, it must me a wire that came loose somewhere
