how do u tell if an ecu is for an automatic or a manual. also how do u tell if it is an obd-0 or obd-1? i'm looking for a pr3 obd-0 and want to make sure i'm not gettin jacked. thanks.

You can call if it's OBD1 or OBD0 by looking at the plugs at the end of the ECU.

I have a picture to describe them but I do not currently have 'em right now. Katman has pics all over that describe the OBD0, OBD1, and OBD2 plugs to where you can tell..

As for auto and manual, please give the code you are getting. The full ECU code.

But most likely the PR3 you are looking for will be definitely OBD0, and manual since there are very few OBD1 PR3, and I don't even know if there are auto ones or not...
