1 less black/silver F4I
one more gone. i know theres alot of them and i used to see them when i was riding all the time. well mines gone now. i wrecked a few months ago and just got out of the hospital a few weeks back. was in there 6 weeks. i was going around a curve and i lowsided i guess and me and the bike slid and hit a guard rail. my friends called 911 and a ambulance came and took me to a local airport where the lifeflight helicopter picked me up and flew me to a bigger hospital about 50 miles away. i ended up with a brain injury and a badly broken elbow. i had on jeans, gloves, helmet, and leather jacket. the helmet and jacket saved my life. im still going to therapy for my elbow and will never get full motion back. i got 2 plates and 14 screws in it now. hehe. xrays look really cool. hehe. i remember about 1 hr before my wreck and 14 days after. i wasnt out that long but i dont have any memory of being in the hospital those 2 weeks. really wierd stuff. so i have no idea what happened. if i was speeding or what not. my bike is totaled now. broke one of the forks and bent them back. trashed all the fairings. grinded the engine covers off and cracked the block and bent the crank. some bad ****. im doing better now and just tryin to fix my arm. oh yeah hospital food sucks. there are some hot nurses though. and therapists. hehe
Glad you're doing better! Will you again, ride? My buddy high sided, he was sooo lucky. His harley landed on him too.

Physical/occupational therapy's gonna take a while.
Took me 8 months to get 95% range of motion back on my wrist. Just keep doing what you need to do to rebuild the muscles and strengthen the bones.
Good luck, hope you go get back on a bike eventually.

will i ride again? when i was in the hospital i said heck yeah. but now that ive gotten out i have had more time to think about it and i'm not gonna get another. i dont want to put my family or friends through this again. expecially not my parents. cause i dont remember the pain, but i know it hurt my parents seeing me in that trauma room. and then having to use a wheel chair cause i didnt know how to walk anymore. i had money for a down payment on another, but im gonna put it into my hybrid now and get it running good. maybe someday when i have more money ill ride again. this was my first bike but i have alot of experence on dirt bikes and a little on street bikes. im not really scared cause i dont remember anything, but i would be thinking about this time and not knowing its gonna happen. thanks for your support guys
brain injusy is where you hurt your brain...i had brain swelling. you can have brain bruising or bleeding. brain injury is really scary and i had never heard of it before this. they think about 65-70. which would be not bad at all cause they said i had a good line. just sand or gravel or something. oh well **** happens.

i know how it is.... i wrecked on dec 9th.. was going on the 710 at about 75 in the left most lane on a long curve..some *** in a sedan wasnt looking and flew into my lane... i tried to avoid him and hit the curb.. somehow managed to stay straight..went into a tankslapper then pulled out of that hitting a tree root..crashed going about 60-65... thankgod there was that 100 yard stretch of grass there..i was able to walk away with a concussion, sprained neck, broken rib, bruised ribs, a really gnarly 12 inch bruise on my left and other aches and pains.... if my bike had been ridable i would have ridden it home... its still in the shop... I just keep thinking if i had crashed 30 feet before i would have gone into the cement center devider....i would be dead. But thats not going to stop me... il just have to be more careful... i cant wait to get my bike back.... if you look at it from the right side it looks fine...but i bent the gearshifter, ed all the plastic up, bent the rear subframe, sheared the left foot peg right off, also sheared the left handlebar off... man im so damn lucky
man...all these stories really make me think twice about riding. right now i only ride if its on sunny days between 60-80 degrees, with all the gear i can afford. otherwise its in the cage for me.
