ok, heres the story
I went to a GM dealership and picked up some gm synchromesh Friction modified.
I went to WoodStock, Ontario to pick this stuff up, the thing was... It came in a Saturn bottle. Just wondering if anyone of you fellow Canadians picked up some of the same stuff too. just curious if you guys got the same bottle when you asked for the gm synchromesh FM stuff. I'll post a pick of it soon as I can.
When I asked the dealership about the label, she told me that GM switched the labels and are switch the part numbers.

i don't think it makes a difference what the bottle label says.

saturn is a division of general motors and they get the oil from the same place anyway. it's most likely the same stuff just with different a different label.

 

I went to a dealer here in Whitby (east of Toronto) and I got the non-FM stuff.
Came in a standard GM bottle that said syncromesh...

 

i couldnt find FM at all.

 

ok, this GM crap I got was suppose to be the FM stuff....but STILL my 3rd gear still grinds!! IN FACT even worst! maybe I got jipped. I was wondering...does this GM synchromesh FM stuff look red?will anyone here on H-T ship me 3 bottles?
