ok i put a y8 into my 92 civic. and there is no place to stick the intake air temp sensor. so i just left it hang. well the tips warm up and they melt!!

do i have the wronge plug hooked up to it??

can someone check the color of wires running to their IAT sensor?

i think i may have it switched with the pot sensor the little round cylinder looking thing with a vac line running out of it.
