Default This Question is for all you out there with Golden Eagle Sleeves..

My bottom end is eagle rods, je pistons and rings, and golden eagle sleeves. When my block was stock it would take forever to warm up, but with my new setup it warms up much faster. It doesnt overheat while in traffic or driving and never goes past thermostat symbol on guage, but the only thing is that it warms up so fast. I was wondering does anyone elses setup with goldeneagle sleeves do this? And are the sleeves the cause of the quick temperature rise?

I also forgot to mention that I have an aluminum radiator on the new motor compared to the honda radiator one on my old motor and the vehicle is a 2000 Honda Civic SI. Not sure if radiator would affect the warming up process.

Working on the sleeves, but I am sure the alum rad has nothing to do with the heat up. The thermostat is closed until the engine get up to temp.

As far as the quick heat up is concerned did you increase the compression ratio? Higher compression = more heat faster.
