I don't think it will be problem for the injector when it sprays the fuel...Anybody else? Thoughts???

That must have been a real shitty wrap job on the packaging.

Its fine to run them without caps, thats just there for protection doesn't affect functionality. I would take the cracked ones off, u dont want the plastic falling into your cylinder.

take all the caps off...and run that way...then every so often, take them out and clean them off (good practice anyway)

And not to slam the seller, but I highly doubt they cracked in shipping...they were probably already cracked.

I'm running 2 with and 2 without...like it was said before, it's just to protect when they're not in the car.

do yourself a favor and getthose cleaned and balanced for safety!!
you can't really trust used injectors and trust that they are all working 100%
worst thing would be to have one of them not work properly, lean out a cylinder and kaboom

they will be fine.

you need to grind out the inside of the stock o-rings and they will fit fine.

need some clips? resistor box? check my sig.

Also, not sure if this is off thread.....but..

How would you clean a injector, and get them balanced out? ( I mean, the route of DSM injectors is because of the cheap prices ) What prices are we looking at? Or is it possible to Self do? THanks.

it costs ~$20 per injector to clean/balance them. that is why i went with RC injectors.

$50-75 for the DSM's
$80 to clean them
$10-20 for resistor box.
$140-175 total

$260 shipped for RC's

it was worth it to me.

true. but you have to remember shipping and down time.

not worth the hassle in my opinion.

You can go to NAPA or maybe most auto parts places and they'll clean them for like $8 an injector. At least when I lived in Montana you could.

i talked to NAPA and they said $20= parts. usually comes out to about $22 and injector.

i doubt NAPA's prices will vary that much state to state.

Don't know what to tell you. Maybe I don't remember the price right, maybe they're trying to rip you off. Not sure but, doesn't hurt to give a call around to other parts stores or to you local NAPA. Now back to our regularly scheduled program.
