gsr ecu in 92-95 b16a coupe/ burns gas. what is wrong?

gsr ecu in 92-95 b16a coupe/ burns gas. what is wrong?
the ecu has a chip (vtec inside) it lets the car red line at 9200 instead of 7500. the ship can be switched from aftermarket to stock but i dont know what is witch. i dont know. any info is good. thanks
