Default Larger front swaybar on a DS ITR

For the archives:

I recently installed a 1" Suspension Techniques front swaybar on my DS ITR. After one event (nice, grippy concrete), I'm pretty happy with the results. The inside rear still lifts slightly (~1"), so it's transferring as much weight as possible in the rear. And, the car corners flatter, so camber is improved slightly. (that's camber relative to the gound for any of you thinking that the suspension gains camber in compression)

It did pick up a little corner-entry push, but I should be able to tune that out with the shocks. Hopefully it won't mess anything else up, because otherwise, it felt great.

Other setup info: Hoosier A3S04's (225F/205R, 49psiF/45psiR), Koni DA's (9 clicks comp. F&R, 1/2-turn off full-stiff reb. F&R), 1/8" total toe-out F&R.

I ended up taking the overall, indexed win over some current and former National Champions...though at least a couple of them didn't have their best day.

good stuff! looks like you got that car dialed in pretty damn good. .5 seconds advantage on index isn't something to scoff at, that's for sure. when/what national event are you going to be going to and what kind of DS competition should be there?

Is this the former BMW driving Brian Fitzpatrick.? If so good luck in D stock I think you'll do well since you are "correctly" setting up the car. I ran against you a few years ago in Peru I was in the Maroon WRX with Larry Fine in the Silver one and you in the blue BMW (if this is the same Brian). That was a close 1-2-3 finish.

As far as the initial turn in push, would not slightly higher rear tire pressures help you with this on corner entry.????
