Default Best suspension setup for ED3

What's the best, or well....best performing setup for the money....

I wanted to go Skunk2 sleeves with KYB AGX's, but was told from a few different sources that they blow when the car is slammed. Then someone suggested Koni Yellows w/ Neuspeed race springs. I want the car to handle REALLY WELL but not spend over a G just on springs/shocks. I also was interested in the Tein SS...but haven't heard from 'vtecvoodoo' on here lately...saw his thread in the Best Buy forum, but since that forum has been disabled....well....

What would you recommend??

PS I go on occasional trips up the canyons w/ my buddies and would just like the car to be tight overall.

Here's a side view, I'd like to relower it and have it sit the same height...It was lowered by previous owner with Maxspeed springs...dunno which "model" if they have more than one setup.....

But what about the "rumor"? of AGX's blowing in short amounts of time when they're used in conjunction with either REALLY low springs or when coilover sleeves are set low?
