I'm have been thinking when my ITR sells about buying a used 91-92 NSX.I have seen some go between $20k and $28k.I would like to know if any of you guys with the 91 and 92's had to do any major repairs? What are the maintenance cost for a older model?

My philosophy with buying nsx is, you get what you pay for. You buy a cheaper one and there's better chance of it having issues. You spend more on a well maintained nsx, and you will probably have less issues. For example, I bought a 94 3 years ago and paid good $$ but I have not had any mechanical issues to this date.(Other than the ones that I induced!) Oh actually, I had to replace the CV boot on both rear axles but that's almost a regular maintenance on a 10 year old vehicle. Other than that the only maintenance are tires, oil changes, 60k service, brakes and Water pump/timing belt. But some of the known issues on 91-92 would be
1. Snap Ring
2. AC
3. Climate control unit going bad
etc.

I know I will have to do the regular maintinence like oil change, tire,T belt and water pump.I really just wanted to know the usual probems that the 91,92's have.I have heard of the snap ring and climate control problems before.

Get familiar with the NSX FAQ (link posted above by fangtl).
Scheduled maintenance costs are totally predictable. Same thing for the cost of wear items like tires, brake pads, tires, and tires.
Repairs are typically infrequent but when needed, can be expensive. Many clutches last as little as 40-50K miles and a replacement costs just over $2K for a '91-96 (more for a '97+).
I think if you buy a well-maintained NSX and budget unexpected repairs at $1K per 10K miles (in addition to scheduled maintenance and wear items), you should be fine.

Look in the FAQ, Stupid. (The link that fangtl posted above.) It's in the Troubleshooting area.
(And, for those who think I'm insulting him with that first sentence, check his username...)
