well,
there is a really big difference between GSD2 and GSD3. GSD2, the older one, is a kind of tire the industry doesn`t recommend anymore.. because of its lower traction an wet surface, its relativly loud noise and its uncomfortable carcass-concept. It doesn`t fit the saftety, comfort an economy standards nomore. This is why the GSD3 is out.
The GSD2 is a pure performance oriented tire.. it grips on dry surface like hell, even when it`s getting really hot, without getting slippery. Further the sidewalls are pretty stiff..
The newer GSD3 is comparable to the Toyo Proxess T1-S. It has got a silica-mixture which makes it grippy on wet and dry when driven cold.. It´s comfortable and runs calm and quite. But it starts to slip when hard driven...
Now WHAT are you looking for in you stiff, loud performance car ??? The Kumho MX is not in the same league as the GSD2 and S03. It`s more a "newer" kind of tire.

Dude, 712's rock in the rain and for commuting.
Don't diss 712's.

the gsd2 is the best tire in the rain. Nothing is stickier than that tire IMO. the gsd2 will perform out the gsd3 all day long in all categories, except noise, but who cares about noise. Not the ITR driver.
Uhm.... My GSD2 sucked completely during the saftey training on wet.. hahaha. No chance to steer the car in any direction on the slip-surface. But on dry they rocked.
