Default need your opinion in suspension

I need to buy new suspentions for my 00 civic. I want to lower it but its my daily drive and in winter I want to put at regular hight. So I was thinking about buying coilovers. Do you guys know which are cheapest and is it worth buying used one. Give me your opinion.

thanks

You usually get what you pay for. Just keep that in mind. Do it right the first time and you won' thave to do it again later.

Get some Ground Controls, they are like 250-300 I believe.

Well, I don't think you should be looking for the cheapest ones if you are planning on getting coilovers, because many of the "cheap" ebay ones break, as a couple of my friends have found out.

And if you are looking for the less expensive coilovers (not full coilovers) then I would recommend either Skunk 2 or Groundcontrol as they are both high quality.

Then you can just pair those up with some good shocks like KYB's, Tokico's, or Koni's. Take your pick on these, as they have different price levels, but they are all good brands.

If you do a little bit of research on this subject, you will find some very good information, and also a lot of different opinions on what is the "best setup."

My advice is not to get something simply because it is inexpensive, otherwise chances are you won't be happy with it and possibly regret it.

And I'm not saying that you have to buy the most expensive stuff either.

You should think about what you really want, then research it and see what other people are saying about it. If it has pretty good reviews, then you will probably be ok to get it.

I beleive Koni yellow's have adjustable perch heights. So you could use those and any spring combo.
