Default 4th gen or 5th gen

Ok I now have a 94 prelude vtec turbocharged and stuff. And my wife’s car is a 97 mystic. Well she needs a bigger car. Probably a Odyssey but any who, what I am think is I cans strip my car down and sell it and hook the 97 up. But the thing is my car will be paid off in March. But her prelude still got 4 years left. Unless I get enough from mine to pay a good amount off. I am just having problems deciding what we want to do any opioins or suggestions will help. TIA

I'd sell the 5G. You don't need two car payments.

I can't say that I don't like the 5g better but the idea of no car payment is just too strong of an argument in the 4g's favor. Keep your car and get your wife a CRV not an Odessey.

I'm an avid 5th gen promoter and I love them to death cause I own one...but considering u almost paid off the 4th gen and got 4YEARS left on the 5th gen...keep the 4th gen. Unless u got loads of money coming in.

sounds like you have a winner (4G)... but why would you want a bigger car anyways? i grew up as a child proud that my parents never succombed to the evil bandwagon known as a minivan cult...

also, having a car with a small back seat is a good excuse to say "not it" when you and your friends are trying to decide who's going to be the driver on a night outing (i.e. DD)...

Yea i agree with the posts on here i just dont why i am thinking it, i guess because i like the look of the 5th gen and also no more to be made. I dunno i figured i could sell mine stock and hook it up and pay most of it off with the money from mine. But that is alot of work though.

The reason why we need something bigger is , is we need more room like on vacations, also we take her neieces with us alot and dont have the room. Also she sells longerburger baskets on the side and not enuff room to haul her stuff.

Honda's not making anymore 4Gs either, but do what you feel is right for you. Either way you're losing a prelude, so it's a lose-lose situation. Do what you think will make you happier. If you keep the 5G, you had better really like it b/c I looked for my 4G for over a year.

I'd stick with the 4th cause then you don't have to start on another car payment plan.
