Upgrading LSD cable tranny

Upgrading LSD cable tranny
I have a JDM YS1 cable tranny and I'm thinking of replacing the LSD with a quaiffe and maybe final drive. I heard that Type R internals too would fit in a YS1 cable tranny...any other suggestions?

The Hasport conversion looks so clean, hopefully one day I can upgrade to an R tranny
