Default Please give me some insight as to what tire pressure I should use on my new tires

I hope someone here can give me a little insight on where to start my tire pressure. Last year I ran Falken Azenis and this year I switched to Victoracers. This weekend will be the first race of the season and I just had them mounted 2 days ago and haven't had a chance to heat cycle them yet. My setup in a '99 EM1 @ ~2600 Lb.'s with 400 F/ 556 R springs on Illumina adj. shocks. I'll be running in SM and the camber is set to - 2.5 F/ -1.0 R. I'm also running a Progress 22mm reat anti sway, stock front anti sway, f/r strut tower bars, and new SPC LCA's in the rear. My question is this: Where should I start out my F/R tire pressures? I understand that it varies but I hope you experienced guys can start me off on the right foot concidering these are new tires for me. The course I'll be running them on will be asphalt and the temperature outside should be ~60-70 degrees. Any thoughts would be helpful .

i use the same tires (225/45-15) on factory wheels on my wife's 99 si (GS). pressures that i use are 44 front, 40 rear. i start there then bleed back when they start rising. that should give you a starting point, but most likely you will be running something like 40f/36-38r. good luck.

Wow, 44F and 40R to start? I was thinking ~41F and ~37R. This is why I ask questions like this. I'm glad I did!
