b16a2 head swap worth it?
i have a 100% stock 1995 gsr that im gona be boosting here in a few months. yesterday i picked up a b16a2 head for cheep.
my question is, is it worth my time to build up and swap the b16 head on to my gsr before i boost? or should i just sale the b16 head and build up my gsr head?

Swapping from a GSR head to a B16 head, you will decrease the compression ratio. And since you are going boost anyway, the drop in compression ratio will be a bonus for you
No need to make things difficult, keep the gsr head, you'll have the gsr cams already which is a plus. Alaniz tested the two heads and they flowed similiar, I think the b16 slightly outflowed it, but It wont make much of any different. The gsr however yields a higher compression, so in the end it the results are not worth the trouble.
Just sell the b16 head, and use that $$ to better your setup, maybe an Intake manifold or something of that nature.

thanks guys, the only reason i wanted to use the head is so my car dosent have any downtime while i got head work.
but i guess your right i might as well sell the b16 head and just use my stock gsr head.
anyone wana trade something for it?
