Default Best Turbo Kit For a GSR...

Hey guys, I'm wondering what would be the best turbo kit for a gsr. I'm leaning more towards Greddy Turbo kit. I heard Rev Hard and Drag are good, but do you have to cut your block in order to make it fit?? My goals are for at least 250whp daily driven on stock internals for now. Is this possible with the Greddy kit with tuning? I would probably only run the emanage for a couple weeks untill i actually get Hondata or something. Tell me what you guys think. oh ya, btw... what other things do i need to run a safe turbo setup that's not included in the Greddy kit or other kits. thanks!

How is the greddy working out for you? I also live in WA and am going to attempt a turbo set up this summer on my b18c DB8

its a great beginner turbo...buying the setup comes with everything you need to install including instructions. As far as power, its set at 8 ibs of boost and that is safe for a stock motor. I recommend starting with the greddy turbo and upgrade as you go.

Why not save it up and do it the right way.. Instead of wasting time and hassles to sale and upgrade.. Go find a nice setup to start with... Not worth the time upgrading now.. Do it right the first time...!

Don't be so sArcastic turd..

As I am saying, I rather own a drag kit or max rev over a Greddy ANY DAY! It comes with larger Turbo, in most cases larger injectors, and all the neccesary parts to run 7-8lbs on stock motor.. Drag for example, Ben offering Free upgrades, Tial WG, Greddy TuRbo timer, etc etc.. Overall, GREDDY is wayyy tooo small! Ive seen Lots who own greddy tends to upgrade EVERY PART!

Why not go with Drag and matbe just upgrade pipings to larger?

My point.. Theres more Potential on other kits compared to Greddy..~

Your best option would be to do some research and built a custom kit. It would be cheaper and better than any pre-fab kit you can buy.

I had a greddy its ok for daily driven, but I wanted more power, now just sold it and went with a custom kit from cheapturbo.com . I wish I had that before i bought the greddy kit. Check it out before you buy the greddy.

the greddy kit with 18g can make more power than a stock block can hold for everyday driving..
