I just bought some TE-37's for my ITR. Before I put them on I wanted to invest in some wheel locks. I have heard of McGard, but I saw some Acura ones at the dealership as well. I was just wondering who makes the best, and the most secure ones? Would the Acura factory ones that they sell at the dealer be okay? My ITR didn't come with wheel locks, so I have no idea which ones to get. Thanks everyone.

 

The Acura factory locks are not the same taper as the ones needed for the TE37s. The factory lugnuts aren't the same taper either. I would get a new set of Lugs and locks to fit the taper correctly. If you notice, the divot that the lugs sit in is not rounded like the divots in the factory wheels. Get the McGards to match the taper, but go ahead and get the whole lugnut set with the locks.

what color wheels did you get? if you got the bronze ones i would say get some black lugs. i got mugen lugs on mine one is a loocking lug. they look alot nicer that silver agianst the bronze. or you could get those Kyokugen from mike.
