This is towards WCHC H1 Racers:

I know ITE rules are based on each region, wondering if any of the WCHC H1 cars every run with SCCA and which class? I thought I remembered a black H1 accord running ITE. Or am I going to have to run the car in SP if I want to run with SCCA. I just want to make sure they aren't all weird about a engine swap since they don't like those in SCCA. I already know I am going to need to put a fuel cell and bulkhead in it. I have made phone calls and emails to those in the Cal Club office but haven't heard back from them yet. I want to be able to run in that class also to be able to get some more seat time at Buttonwillow. Thanks for the help!

My friend VARO Red/Black civic #57 runs H1 and SCCA ITE. I suggest reading the ITE rules for SoCal.

I have read the rules.. what is unclear is the enginge swap. I have still not heard back from the Cal Club office. DOes that Civic have a swap?

 

Yes its running a K series engine. Rules say u can use any engine as long as its in the original location.
