Default more ?s on a b16a

ok guys i looking for a good combintion of parts for a reliable motor ,parts im think of:
p&p , vavle job on the head(portflow)
stage2 skunk cams and springs ,retainers bronze vavle guides
ok this what im having a problem with:
going with ctr pistion
or sticking with the sir2 slugs and just get spoon gasket to bump up the compression

now i know this is not a EDYNO but i looking for reliable power so i take this car for road courses and any other parts that will help out and u guys have dealt with that suck or rocks let me know

Sounds good.

I'm more of a fan of less dome on the piston and milling the block and head to get the compression you desire. But if you feel uncomfortable with that, just take your time and clay the motor with the PCT pistons in it. Also, use a stock headgasket.

If you are not using aftermarket stainless steel valves, then I would stick with OEM guides. Bronze guides do seal better, but they also wear out quick.

how quick are we talking about wearing out(bronze guides)?and has any ran skunk2 stage 2 cams with ctr pistion,have u had any vavle clearence promblems?cause sticking with sir2 slugs are sounding pretty reliable with skunk 2 cams

My thoughts:

Rebuild with p30 pistons
Mill head and possibly get a mild port
CTR or a mild set of cams with adjustable cam gears and something to adjust fuel and vtec

Dyno tune for the widest power band possible
