ok I want to boost, where do I start
ok well I just got another 92 CX and I want to boost. my plans as it is now is 98 LS motor with boost, I kind of got a lot of things in mind. I want to be able to boost from 20 to 29psi. what is the best turbo for that. what I have now to start it as followed. HKS BOV-front mount spearco intercooler-550cc RC injectors-SI tranny-walbro turbo fuel pump-3 bar sensor. please some one help me out and let me know what other stuff I might need to make a 98 LS motor run 25 pounds...
TIME TO BOOST, HAD FUN WITH A ALL MOTOR GS-R BUT NOW I WANT TO FEEL THE THRILL OF BOOST

BOV? Intercooler? Yeah, you're thinking a little to far ahead. First of all 25 pounds of boost? Where did you get that number from? That's a whole lot of air. Anyway, you might want to think about the internals of the motor first.
to boost a B18B1 to 25 psi, you will need an ls tranny, si's gears are too short to build that much boost.
you'll need iron sleeves (RS Machine), strong rods, forged pistons, crower 402T cams, a gasket-matched ported and polished head, skunk2 intake manifold, dual valvesprings, titanuim retainers, cometic high boost head gasket, Z10 block girdle, Z10 oil pan, probably something like a 20g or t4 or t3-t04e turbo, full-race turbo manifold, some 750cc injectors, a really nice engine management setup, and lots of tuning

25psi is a lot...u will def need to build your bottom end and head possibly...also i would use a LS tranny fro longer gears in the turbo application...turbo wise u should look at precision turbos...at 25psi u might even need bigger injectors but im not sure...if u got the money then u r set, but if u dont i would look at more realistic goals such as 12 psi on a stock motor with good tuning such as hondata
a t4 ball bearing turbo would be good you think? also I mean I want to built my motor from the ground up and I know that and am busting my *** to accomplish this you know. where would be a good place that I could get all this stuff you mention

your more than likely gonna have to get that head ported and polished. there is a video floating around the net of a guy with a turbo'd b18b running 20 psi, and he can beat vipers. something like 430 hp. Anyways, you got a lot of work ahead to run 29 psi, thats a alot of pressure. If your serious I hope you got some money then.
