OK, here is my problem... On my car I have Altezza's that previous owner installed... I want to get rid of those for obvious reasons...

Now, I got the original tail lights along with the car (luckily the guy didn't throw them away) but unfortunately they are not USDM red-transparent but euro-combination (red-white/transprent-orange)

I do not want to spend the money getting the new taillights if I don't have to so I was thinking of painting those OEM lights... there is some RED-TRANSPARENT spray-color and with that I would get my whole taillights in shiny red color... now, what do you think how it would look...

I haven't seen a coupe with lights painted like that yet so my question is would it suck or would it be OK??? ricy or normal???

The problem is that the reverse light would also be red and I don't want that so I might just paint everything except reverse light...

If anyone knows of some coupe with taillights painted all-red and has some picture I would be more than grateful for the link or actual picture...

But if it will suck in any way... I will just end up buying the new OEM red-white/transparent taillights...

Yes and those euro-tails I have are like following

- brake light - red
- fog light - red
- reverse - transparent/clear
- turn light - orange

How would it look if the whole thing is RED...

 

it really depends on what color red and how well u do it. Ive seen people do a very nice job on it and others looked nasty as hell. im sure if u searched u might be able to find someone who has it done, i see that kind of stuff on the street a lot.

i honestly like the way they look now, but if u covered the amber color with red it should still look good, just make sure u keep the reverse lights clear

 

i painted me tail-light all red. but my car is white. proabbly i should even out the red alittle bit more.

First of all, I think you're confused on what "USDM" coupe tail lights look like. You have the "USDM" 96-98 coupe tail lights which are Red and Orange with a white reverse. "USDM" 99-00 coupe tail lights are Red/White only. I dont know what a "euro combination" is. They are interchangeable. Don't bother with painting the tail lights all red.. it'll look like ****. Just buy some 99-00 OEM ones.

Yeah.. I have the outter parts of the 99-00 tail lights if you want to buy them. The inner parts started leaking so I had to switch them with my old 96-98 tails. Im getting another 99-00 set in very soon.

The wheels are 16" RS Limited (ADR) Concept Pro's with a +45 offset and 205/45/16 Bridgestone Potenza tires.

 

Unfortunately I am not able to buy them from you cos I am currently in Europe and will be here until late June...

But when I get back to US I maybe buy them... how much???
