J's Racing Intake / Stock Resonator
I just installed the J's intake. I haven't taken the stock resonator out.
Did most of you take the resonator out after installing the J's intake?
Any pro's to taking it out or leaving it in?
It only weighs a few ounces I'd imagine so I am not worried about any weight implications.
Thanks for the input

I don't see how the J's intake would be able to use the resonator effectively at all....
I also don't see how it could hinder its performance either.
I'd say leave it alone.

In this thread: http://www.honda-acura.net/for...29719, Carver commented that the leftover parts appeared to point incoming air right at the J's conical filter.
For whatever that's worth.

I left my resonator in. I didn't see any benefit in taking it out.
It also makes it easier to reinstall the stock intake if I ever need too.
I'd say to just leave it in unless you were going to try some sort of ducting.
