Default Tach, Speedo off, runs fine though.....shorted something???

I can turn on the car fine. With the ignition on the on position the clock doesn't turn on, though it still works. Tach and speedo stay at 0. When I open the door, it beeps like when you have the key in the ignition, but not on and you open the door.
I left my Helms at a friends, can someone give me a list of things to go over? I've checked the fuses, possibly a relay?

My reverse sensor plug was cut and the wires are exposed, could that have shorted something?

Please help!!! It's driving me crazy. Thanks in advance.

Sounds like you left the headlights on.

It makes both sounds smart guy. I know the difference when you leave your lights on and have the door open with keys in the ignition.
